Three of our libraries will open 24-hours at key times during the 25-26 academic year.
Autumn term dates
For the autumn term, the 24-7 opening periods are:
Dates for the spring and summer terms will be shared as soon as possible.
All other libraries will continue in term-time opening hours, make sure to check individual library pages before visiting for specific opening hours.

Visiting the library
Don't forget to bring your your University Card or present the MyNottingham app for access to libraries:
- after 6pm on weekdays
- all day at the weekend
- during key assessment periods (1 December - 1 February for semester one)
If you leave the library for a break, please make sure you have your card or the app for re-entry.
Lost your card? Visit the Student Services website for information about how to replace your card.
Studying late and need to get home? Catch the free 906 hopper bus (PDF) from University Park and Jubilee Campus every hour from 7.30pm - 10.30pm, Monday - Saturday during term time.
Keep your belongings safe
Laptops, phones and tablets are an easy target. Take valuables with you when taking a break and keep them out of sight at all times.
Did you know you can register your property for free on the Immobilise database? Register your valuables today to improve your chance of getting items back if lost or stolen.

It’s always important to maintain a healthy sleep pattern and work-life balance whilst studying. We recommend setting yourself a target for your study session and stopping when complete.
