How to find databases

Find and access databases relevant to your subject by using the Databases tab within NUsearch:

  • search by keyword
  • browse an alphabetical list
  • browse by category

British Standards Online

Contains full text of all current and most historic BS documents. Documents are available for online viewing and download. Watch the walkthrough
Building Types Online Provides access to over 1000 case studies are documented with texts by authors who are experts in their fields with approx. 5500 architectural drawings of high quality and 2200 photographs of the buildings. Themic articles provide background information on individual building types or explain specific aspects such as lighting, acoustics, urban considerations, access types or planning processes.
