Information for students from Cyprus
Unlock your potential at a world-leading university with a truly international student community.
Entry requirements
Foundation courses
Students who hold the Apolytirion but don’t meet the requirements for direct undergraduate entry can apply for a foundation course. Students holding the Devlet Lise Diplomasi should apply for a foundation course.
We offer foundation courses for international students who are not qualified for direct entry to our undergraduate degree courses.
These courses are available at the University of Nottingham International College, just next to University Park Campus, in partnership with Kaplan International Colleges.
Find out more about the courses, entry requirements and progression options on Kaplan's website:
Applications and enquiries for these courses are handled by Kaplan and the college.
International foundation courses
Undergraduate courses
Full-time courses across our five faculties typically last for three to four years, although some degrees such as medicine and architecture have a longer duration.
Undergraduate entry requirements
Students with the Apolytirion of Lykeion require a grade of 17 or 18 plus two A levels, depending on the course applied for. For entry to many courses we also accept the Apolytirion without A levels, where very high grades have been achieved. Students with the Devlet Lise Diplomasi are required to complete a foundation programme for entry to undergraduate programmes.
Students applying for a course with BBB A level entry requirements require an overall grade of 17 in the Apolytirion, plus grades BB at A level.
Students taking A levels or the IB should refer to the online undergraduate prospectus for entry requirements.
Students taking APs or SATs should refer to our entry requirements for the USA.

“The greenery around campus is unreal. Walking through the forests and seeing squirrels and bunnies and ducks all around is amazing. It honestly feels and looks like it’s made out of a fairytale.”
