Meeting conditions

In order for an Unconditional (or Provisional Unconditional) offer to be given, all conditions need to have been met.

The University requires academic documents (certificates and transcripts) to be verified in one of the following methods in order to issue an unconditional offer:

  • Direct emails from the issuing institution (school, college, university or examination board) to a member of University of Nottingham staff. This must come from a verifiable institutional email address.
  • Scanned copies emailed from representatives who have verification rights (these must be marked with your company stamp and signature, confirming that you have seen the original copy).
  • Certified copies and/or translations (from representatives with verification rights, or a notary public).

Original documents should not be mailed to The University, as this causes unnecessary delays and students must keep these documents to submit when applying for Tier 4 student visa.

All required documents should be given in an appropriate timescale, and before any deadline dates.
