Our postgraduate careers team help doctoral students explore and develop their career options. We offer individual career coaching, skill development events, guest lectures and an online careers resource area.

One of the most valuable aspects of being a UoN student is discovering the wide range of support services available, and the Postgraduate Careers team is a standout example. I am incredibly grateful for the personalised guidance I received from detailed feedback on my CV, cover letter, job presentations to mock interviews that helped me prepare with confidence. Additional support
In additional to the specialist careers support available within the Business School, you can also benefit from additional support from the university's Researcher Academy. This provides professional development for researchers and includes a placement programme, offering part-time consulting roles with industry partners.
