Group Courses (Saturdays)
Due to high demand, we began to offer Mandarin group lessons on Saturdays from October 2019. The initial level of course on offer is suitable only for complete beginners or those with a very basic grasp of the language, but as students progress, all levels of courses from Beginners to Advanced will be available. Like the evening courses, Saturday lessons are also expected to run for each of the academic year's three terms, commencing in October, January and April/May. Lessons will run from 10:00-12:00 OR 12:30-14:30.

Course fees
Standar fee: £120 per 10 week course for all levels (*£110 early bird rate available up to 6 January 2023)
Concessionary fee: £110 per 10 week course, available to current UoN staff and students only (*£100 early bird rate available up to 6 January 2023)

To book a course and pay for your tuition fee, please visit the University Store Website.
Please note that to pay via the Store website, you will need to create an account online with them first (this should only take a few minutes). Once your account is created, you can log in with the username (your email address) and the password you have entered.
Registration deadline: 12:00 noon, Thursday 19 January 2023
Terms and Conditions:
- Fees are non-refundable and no partial refund can be given for any classes not attended.
- Applicants should usually be over 18 at the start of the course.
- A minimum of 5 students are required in order for a course to run. Should any course not recruit sufficiently a full refund will be provided.
- Where possible classes are taught by the same tutor for all classes, however NCI reserves the right to replace a tutor if necessary.
Your place will be confirmed by Friday 20 January 2023 if not earlier. Details on the venue for on-site lessons or Zoom meeting instructions for online lessons will be emailed to you by your class tutor on Saturday 21 January at the very latest.
