The AMHT Division seeks new insights into complex biological and pharmaceutical systems, using advanced analytical tools to accelerate the development of improved materials for biomedical and diagnostic applications. Our multidisciplinary group also applies its state-of-the-art facilities for micro- and nano-scale characterisation to address primary challenges in the production and scale-up of medicines for global healthcare.

The Division provides a unique centre of excellence for the discovery, characterisation and manufacture of pharmaceutical and biomolecular-based materials. Our research is directly integrated with interdisciplinary projects with proven success in both fundamental and applied research.
We have an extensive, state-of-the-art equipment base to enable characterisation, observation and measurement at the micro- and nano-scale with exquisite sensitivity.
