Undergraduate students outside the Medical School, QMC, University Park

Discover our Medical School

Take a tour of the facilities with our students.

Why choose Nottingham?

  • Learn from experts - our School of Medicine has been providing undergraduate education for 50 years. You'll be taught by leading academics and clinicians and supported by our world-class facilities.
  • Sense of belonging - as the Medical School is located just across the road from University Park Campus, you’ll be part of both our Medical School and also the wider university community.
  • The Medical School is based in the Queen's Medical Centre hospital, one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching hospitals - providing services to over 2.5 million residents of Nottingham and surrounding communities.

See for yourself

From lecture theatres and practical learning spaces, to the anatomy suite for full body dissection, our facilities are designed to help you get the most from your studies. And that's not forgetting the dedicated study spaces, cafés, and places to relax.

Everybody on the five-year course and six-year course does full body dissection. It is an absolutely invaluable opportunity to understand and appreciate the human body in its entirety. My knowledge of anatomy is much better because of it.
