Modules to prepare you for the working world

See how Liberty has embraced one of her modules

Studying mathematics doesn’t necessarily mean it is all about problem-solving and analytical thinking (although of course, a lot of it is!)

There are opportunities to learn and develop your skills outside of lectures and seminars too.

Liberty shares how one of her optional modules in her third year has enabled her to teach maths to primary school children. This provides hands-on experience in teaching maths and has helped her explain mathematical concepts to a young audience.

Even if you are not planning to pursue a career in teaching, any placement or work experience during your degree provides you with networking opportunities to open the doors early for career discovery and progression.
