3rd year Architecture and Engineering student Petru tells us about the opportunities available outside of studies.
Our modules cover areas such as thermofluids, project management, building performance, environmental design, and digital modelling, giving you the tools to understand how buildings function and how to improve them.
You’ll develop both technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills, preparing you to tackle real-world challenges in the built environment.
You'll be based at University Park Campus, which has a blend of nature, history, and culture. With acres of green parkland, beautiful historic buildings, and a picturesque boating lake, it’s a truly inspiring place to live and learn.

In your second year, you’ll have the opportunity to study at our Ningbo campus in China, gaining global insight into architecture and engineering in a different cultural and environmental context.
This experience will introduce you to new academic environments, teaching styles, and cultural viewpoints. This will broaden your intellectual horizons and develop your critical thinking.
If you choose to study one of our courses with an industrial year, you'll get the chance to undertake a year-long work placement.
