Our career-focused Architecture BArch course is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). If you want to become an architect, your course is followed by one year of supervised professional experience before embarking on the two-year MArch Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part II) and one further year's professional experience culminating in a Part Three exam.

Get inspired by our end of year show

Picture this – after years of hard work, you've developed your skills,  experimented with ideas and mastered new technologies. Now it’s time to present your engineering project to the world.

That’s exactly what our students do every year.

Our creative, innovative students tackle real-world engineering challenges, and we’re proud to share their incredible work and insights into what awaits you at Nottingham.

Tongue & Groove – our architecture society

Tongue & Groove is run by architecture students and is the perfect way to meet other students in your department, make new friends and have fun. Members comprise of both students and staff within the department, but the society is open to anyone with an interest in architecture.

With guest lectures from practicing architects and professionals, it’s a great way to get an insight into the industry. Whether you love the social side - including our formal balls, our fresher’s events - or want to break up your studies by playing in one of our sports teams which compete against other UoN societies, you’ll make friends for life.
