Ever wondered what computer science students do in their free time? Well, they might be preparing for the hackathon with fellow HackSoc members or having fun at a pizza night with CompSoc.
HackSoc is the biggest tech-based society in the university, known for running the 24-hour HackNotts – a friendly competition to create an exciting project in just 24 hours. HackSoc also hosts workshops and talks from guest speakers in the industry. At CompSoc, you’ll meet other students on the course as well as explore options at careers events
You'll be based at our Jubilee Campus, a vibrant, welcoming community where there’s always something happening. Futuristic architecture, eco-friendly buildings, a library in a lake and innovative technologies make Jubilee Campus an inspiring place to be.
You can find everything you’ll need as a student on Jubilee Campus, including food outlets, a shop, a sports centre and halls of residence. It's also only a 15-minute walk to University Park Campus.
