Accountancy BSc

Delivered in collaboration with the ICAEW and sponsored by PwC, this four-year course gives you a strong foundation in essential subjects like business finance, financial and management accounting, and business law.

And with optional modules covering areas such as entrepreneurship, risk information and insurance, you can shape your degree around your interests.

The best part of my course is the work placements at PwC. These are guaranteed as part of the programme. The placements allowed me to apply what I had been learning in lectures and develop my professional skills. During each of my placements, the teaching and support by the university was fantastic and helped me prepare for examinations upon my return to campus.

Finance, Accounting and Management BSc

Accredited by ACCA, CIPFA, this flexible degree explores the essential areas of finance, accountancy and management. It also offers professional exemptions, and if you choose our Finance, Accounting and Management with Placement Year BSc, the chance to undertake a work placement. 

You can also select from a wide range of optional modules focusing on corporate management, international business, economics, tourism and more. 

The placement [year, which was part of my course] helped me with the experience of applying for jobs and interview practice. I gained more technical and transferable skills to take into the final year of my degree and help me succeed in graduate role applications. These skills include planning and effective time management, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.

You can find everything you’ll need as a student on Jubilee Campus, including food outlets, a shop, a sports centre and halls of residence. It's also only a 15-minute walk to University Park Campus.

Learning that goes beyond the classroom

On the Accountancy BSc, you’ll have the opportunity to undertake paid work placements at PwC. You’ll gain hands-on experience and start building your network.
