Clearing for UK applicants
Clearing at the University of Nottingham is now closed and we are no longer accepting new Clearing applications.
If you have already applied through Clearing, we will contact you via email with next steps.
If you are interested in studying at the University of Nottingham, you can apply now to start in September 2026.
After you have submitted an application, we will assess it against your qualifications and contact you by email – although we may also contact you by phone if we require any further information. We cannot give an exact timeframe of how quickly you will receive an update from us, but we try to make a decision as quickly as possible. Applications are considered in the order they are received.
If we make you a Clearing offer, you can formally accept your place at Nottingham through UCAS's Clearing referral process. You can find out more in our guide to how to accept your offer, but we will provide this information to you with your offer. We will also provide a deadline for referring yourself to us.
Clearing student profile
"I chose UoN through Clearing as I’d already decided I no longer wanted to go to my first-choice university. Then, on results day, I got higher grades than expected, which changed everything."
