Parking permits / vouchers or pay and display tickets are required to be displayed on vehicles on University campuses between 9.15am and 4.00pm weekdays.
Entrance Gatehouses and the Security Receptions will provide parking information and issue pre-arranged visitor vouchers on arrival.
All of our campuses have pay and display parking locations. For more information please click onto the relevant map. Please note that the pay and display areas are signified by a 'PD' symbol:
Parking charges apply as follows:
General Visitor Car Parks (9.15am to 4.30pm Week Days).

University Park Sports Centre allows free parking for up to 2 hours and free parking all of Wednesday PM.
Visitors are advised to read the parking rules and conditions displayed on signs on campuses.
Permit Applications
Parking Permits are issued by the Security office, located at the rear of the Hallward Library, to applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria. Both permits and voucher options are vehicle specific.
All staff on the UON Payroll and who have a contract of employment from Human Resources are eligible for a Staff Car Parking Permit or Vouchers. If you are not directly employed by the University of Nottingham and are not a student at the University then you need to apply for an Associate permit. If you have access to the internet you can apply online.
Before you apply online, it is suggested that you click onto the 'check your emissions' link to the right and click onto the 'vehicle enquiry' button and enter your registration. This will show you your C02 emissions, which needs to be entered accurately on your application.

Associate Parking Permits (or Vouchers) are for all other indidivuals who are not categorised as 'staff' and are authorised to receive parking permits (or vouchers). Students do not qualify for Associate permits.
Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria will only be issued with Orange Zone permits.
Students who live in Halls of Residence or have a term time address within a radius of 15 miles of University Park are NOT eligible for a permit. All students at the Sutton Bonington Campus will be eligible for an Orange Zone permit for parking at this campus only. Concessionary permits are subject to strict criteria, please refer to our traffic regulations.
Students with an Orange Zone permit are only permitted to park in the Orange Zone areas illustrated in the below maps:
You will need to correctly enter your vehicles C02 emissions on the form below. It is recommended that you visit the right hand 'check your emissions' link and click through to 'vehicle enquiries' to obtain this information, which must be entered accurately.
Students (including Orange Zone permit holders) are not permitted to park in the pay and display car parks during hours of operation.
Contractors permits can be applied for by contractors working on the University campuses. These applications will need to be authorised by a manager within the Estates Office.
Residents' permits will only be issued to tenants who do not use their vehicles for parking on any University campus other than spaces designated to their address. These applications will need to be approved by the University Houses Manager.
Vouchers need to be displayed for all vehicles parked on campus between 9.15am and 4pm week days.
Free daily vouchers are available for collection from the Security Gatehouses at University Park, Jubilee and King's Meadow Campuses and from the Security Offices at University Park and Sutton Bonington, on production of hired vehicle documentation.
Day Vouchers can be purchased in books of 25, authorised by Schools and Departments to allow free visitor parking on University campuses.

Authorised free parking for such events will normally be restricted to the orange zone areas of the Campuses with Security providing vouchers and directions to the approved parking areas on the day.
