Our commitment to the goals

At the University of Nottingham, we address the complex challenges facing our planet and are committed to making an outstanding contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDGs are a call to action to secure a safer, fairer and more sustainable future.

Our researchers deliver solutions to complex problems and work with partners in the UK and across the world to ensure our innovations have transformative impact on people’s lives.

Learning and students

Our teaching is informed by the SDGs. We inspire our students to be globally-engaged citizens, equipped with the skills and knowledge to make a difference. We work hard to help make such opportunities accessible to all.
