A bespoke programme of support helps undergraduates apply what they’re learning as part of their studies, to the world of work.
Undergraduate students can also benefit from the university’s central Careers and Employability Service.
Our Careers and Employability Programme encourages you to develop specific employment skills, helps you understand how best to prepare yourself for a job interview and other recruitment processes, and learn about opportunities with particular organisations.
You will have opportunities to network with top employers throughout your degree. Many of these companies sponsor prizes for the highest-performing students in different years of study or particular subjects.
We also help students prepare for successful careers through our professional development programmes. These ensure that by the end of your first year you have developed a practical understanding of the skills required to succeed both academically, and in business, with a specific focus on leadership and management.
Undergraduate students can also take part in community events and voluntary activity which helps them with group work and presentational skills.
