With more than fifty academic colleagues specialising in finance, risk, management and cost accounting, and banking, the Finance, Accounting and Banking Department at Nottingham University Business School delivers teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate-taught and research programmes.
We deliver across a range of cross-cutting and interdisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, bringing together a unique combination of professionally qualified accountants and banking and finance experts with practical industry experience and internationally recognised, high-quality research.

Our BSc Accountancy (Flying Start) is offered in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the ICAEW, featuring three paid work placements with PwC during the period of study and a high level of accreditation towards the ACA qualification.
The BSc Finance, Accounting, and Management programme has a broader focus, covering three main subject areas: finance, accounting, and management and offering a large and diverse professional accreditation exemptions from ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, and ICAS.
Our comprehensive portfolio of postgraduate courses offers a range MSc degrees with diverse specialist modules, ranging from Blockchain to Management Accounting, from Consumers, Ethics and Regulation in Finance to Fixed Income Investments, and from Data Analytics to Bank Theory.
The teaching was engaging, the materials were up to date with current industry practices, and the inclusion of external resources for further learning was a fantastic bonus. The delivery across both modules helped bridge theoretical understanding with practical application which is exactly what I was hoping for.
