Allowances

In addition to your basic salary, the University may make additional payments to you in recognition of performance of additional duties or working overtime, shift patterns or unsocial hours.

Allowances are also paid to staff working overseas. Some payments are made relating to your profession, such as those made to clinical academics and clinical veterinary staff.

 

 

Additional Duties

Payments made for performing additional duties, such as taking on part or all of a vacant role at a higher level, leadership roles, consultancy work and being a first-aider.

Clinical Academic Staff

Payments made to Clinical Academic staff in line with NHS guidelines, such as Additional Programmed Activities, Clinical Excellence Awards and Junior Doctors' Banding.

Overtime, Shifts & Unsocial
