Nottingham's Music Department ranked in the top 10

Description
The Complete University Guide 2013 has ranked Nottingham's Music Department as 9th strongest in the country, out of 71 Music Departments.

Call for Papers - Challenging Musical Ontologies

Description
This RMA Study Day seeks to engage with conflicting yet complimentary dialogues regarding the possibility (or even non-possibility) of an ontology of music. Proposals are welcomed of up to 250 words for 20 minute papers on a range of topics. Deadline for submission 30 August 2012.
