Walking times

Walking between campuses

Our Nottingham campuses are located just over a mile apart and are within walking and cycling distance of each other.

The University encourages staff and students to walk or cycle between campuses where possible as it’s a great way to stay active and can help to improve air quality and reduce congestion on our campuses and beyond.

To help plan your travel, we’ve provided approximate walking times between example locations on our campuses. Using the chart below, the walking time is shown where the column of one location and the row of the other location intersect.

Did you know?

You can walk between University Park, Jubilee and King's Meadow campuses.

You may be suprised at how little time it takes.

For example, Coates Building to Advanced Manufacturing Building is around 13 minutes.
