Open days

Come to our open days because...

Visiting us in person is the best way to get a feel for student life and it will help you decide if you’ll be happy studying here. Our campuses are beautiful places to explore and attending an open day will give you the opportunity to speak to staff and current students, find out key information about your course and join tours of the University’s accommodation and other facilities.

If you have any queries about booking or travelling to and arriving at the University, check out our frequently asked questions and hopefully we can help.

Top tips...

Don't forget to attend some of our general presentations. They're more useful than you think!

Make good use of our staff and student helpers. They're the ones in the bright green t-shirts.

Accommodation is an important aspect of university, so make time to visit both the catered and self-catered choices on offer.

Important travel information...

Work on Nottingham's multi-million pound tram service extension is now complete. The new route extends the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) service to the south and southwest of the city, connecting the University directly to the city. The Toton line runs frequently, and will be a great asset to our transport network. The new line is very popular at the moment and can be busy, therefore we recommend that you continue to use our free shuttle buses from Nottingham and Loughborough train stations for the purpose of this event.

Day 6 of The Tour of Britain will be passing by University Park North entrance on Friday 11 September at around 2.45pm; this will mean closure to traffic of around 15-30 minutes. Why not take the opportunity to cheer the riders on as they make their way to the finish line!
