Research diet and health in the Nottingham BBSRC DTP

Diet and Health focusses on the study of diet and nutrition for the maintenance of human health. This includes dietary components and effects such as digestion and absorption, as well as disease prevention. Research areas include gut biology and microbiome, the influence of maternal diet on the foetus and the effects of food structure, processing and modification on health-related food properties.
