Research industrial biotechnology in the BBSRC DTP
Industrial Biotechnology focuses on the use of biological resources for producing and processing materials, chemicals and energy. Areas of research include biocatalysis and metabolic engineering and the use of enzymes to carry out chemical reactions, and for applications such as in biofuels, non-food crops, bioremediation and waste treatment.
