Research Topic:
CEOs overconfidence and systemic risk Evidence from the bank activities

Research Details:
My research extends on how managerial overconfidence relate to bank's contribution to systemic risk. We argue that three business activities can serve as channels through which overconfident CEOs can influence a bank's contribution to systemic risk. Employing a unique hand-collecting dataset, we find that banks with overconfident CEOs exhibit higher systemic risk and a positive association between CEOs overconfidence and ratio of non-interest income to interest income.
