Educational Excellence Team

The Educational Excellence Team are within the Libraries function; and their over-arching remit is for institutional oversight of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE). By QA we refer to the governance mechanism that provides authority and accountability over the standards and quality of learning and teaching provision and the team are custodians of the universities Quality Manual. In terms of Quality Enhancement (QE), we are referring to the work beyond the expected criteria or above the baseline. This refers to our strategies and activities that improve and enrich the student experience. The team are key to the university's Student Engagement activity as well as work to improve programme design, develop innovative teaching strategies, support the professional development of educators, and ensure that students are receiving the best possible education. Our aim is to provide support to academic and professional services alike, across UNUK, University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) and University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). We operate in a supportive manner and welcome feedback on ways we can improve.
