Veterinary medicine - how you'll learn about dairy herd health

Want to become a vet to improve the health of as many animals as possible? The biggest difference we can make is to prevent disease. Nottingham vet school is internationally recognised as being at the forefront of teaching and research in dairy herd health – using data to help farmers manage cows better. This uses many of the same skills that vets use in other areas. This talk will explore why and how we do this, and suggest why this is so important for the future – we’ll also talk about our clinical teaching more generally.
