Online assessment

We wanted a variety of question types to suit students’ learning styles and to reduce the amount of time we spent marking. We’ve optimized staff time in setting assessments that really assess learning objectives.

You can give students self-test and feedback exercises and run formal exams using the University's online assessment tool, Rogō.

The Exams Office can organise the logistical delivery of summative online exams during term-time. This includes the allocation of trained invigilators, the provision of IT support, room bookings, and the provision of first-line support by the Exams Office. Schools who are considering this must inform the Exams Office of these arrangements at the beginning of the academic year to ensure that all arrangements can be put in place.
