Fee Status Assessment
If we are unable to determine your fee status from the information you have supplied on your application, we need you to fill in a fee status questionnaire.
Please fill in the questionnaire by clicking on the button below and upload supporting documents via your MyNottingham account.
The level of fee you pay is dependent upon meeting the residency and immigration requirements set out in the Education (Student Fees, Awards and Support) Regulations 2007 (including amendments). UK legislation allows publicly funded educational institutions to charge ‘overseas’ student fees to international students unless they fulfil certain residence and immigration status requirements. If you meet the residence and immigration status requirements you will be charged the ‘home’ student rate of fee.
Your fee status questionnaire will be assessed using the UKCISA (UK Council for International Student Affairs) guidelines. A summary of the regulations are found on the UKCISA website.
Students from the EU are charged tuition fees at the same rates as UK students, and the University of Nottingham has confirmed that this will continue to be the case for students beginning courses in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 academic years. We will honour all tuition fee rates as confirmed at the offer stage and for each subsequent year of study (subject only to increases for inflation).
The information that you provide in this form will be used solely for the purpose of assessing your fee status, and is held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Your personal data will be processed as outlined in the University of Nottingham’s Privacy Statement, which can be accessed here.
The following are suggestions on what you could send in to support your Fee Status Questionnaire
- Copy of your passport and any relevant stamps
- Home Office Letter confirming status in the UK
- Utility Bills from a property in the UK/EU
