Business futures: looking at the next 25 years with NUBS

The 2023-24 academic year marks 25 years of Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) – something which we think definitely calls for a celebration.

We'll be hosting events globally across the next 12 months, the first of which you can book onto now. We'll be reflecting on our successes and also looking ahead to the next quarter century in the world of business.

See what's been achieved and what you can look forward to below.

Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) has made great strides over the last quarter century: it has established itself as an international leader in finance and management education and a pioneer in entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.

With 25 years of critical thinking, high-quality teaching and world-class research, the school has helped to create generations of successful business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Last year, the University of Nottingham was second in the UK for graduate start-ups, with a combined turnover of nearly £160 million and investment raised totalling almost £70 million.

NUBS is the only business school in the UK to hold triple accreditation from AACSB International for its operations on every campus (UK, China and Malaysia) – and it is one of the few business schools in the world that hold ‘triple crown’ accreditation (AACSB in the United States, AMBA in the UK, and EQUIS in Europe). It is also ranked #69 in QS International Trade Ranking 2023.

This academic year we will be celebrating all that has been achieved to date alongside looking forward to the future at a series of events open to all alumni with an interest in business.

Hosted by the respective deans of each business school, we will bring our faculty, partners, students and graduates together to discuss the future of business and management, and explore challenges and opportunities faced by business leaders today.

With expertise in banking, finance and risk; ethical, sustainable and responsible business; and innovation and entrepreneurship among many other disciplines, these events promise to be a great opportunity to make valuable new connections and share ideas.
