Teaching
In the Department of Marketing, Tourism and Analytics, we know that our students today will be the leaders of tomorrow. Challenged with the growth and success of businesses and organisations and with the potential to have a significant impact on the lives of others, we provide our students with the foundations they need to succeed.
Drawing on our global networks and cutting-edge research, students gain knowledge and insight which spans from the foundations to the forefront of marketing, tourism and analtyics thinking.
Our collaborations with industry ensure our curriculum is relevant and our students engage with real-world challenges and issues. That includes live company-based projects, contemporary case studies and digital skills engage students throughout our courses.
In a world where old certainties are crumbling, we need students who can think as well as do—who can bridge abstract thinking and practical action. The ‘practical theorist’ doesn’t just apply knowledge, but tests it, reshapes it, and makes it fit for a changing world. It’s about navigating complexity and challenging assumptions to create something new.
