At the University, we go the extra mile to provide enhanced support to certain student groups through dedicated provision led by our Support and Wellbeing Team. Our approach is centred around understanding and addressing the unique needs of each specific student cohort.
Currently, we have the following provision in place, offering consistent support and a dedicated point of contact:
Students who meet the criteria for any of these groups can initiate self-referral using the provided contact information above.
We are also actively establishing provisions for the following groups:
- Under 18’s
- Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Minorities
- Students with caring responsibilities
- Low income/First in Family
- International students
- International incidents and student refugees
It's important to note that members of these groups can still access support through the university's standard channels, including the Support & Wellbeing Team. Our enhanced support is designed to complement existing resources rather than replace them.
