Inclusive Climbing

“Climbing for all, whatever your ability!”

Climbing sessions for Staff and Students with disability or long term medical conditions.

These sessions have been running for over two years and are specifically designed to cater for anyone who wants to try climbing but may have some form of disability.

These sessions are not possible without the generous support of staff and student volunteers. If you feel that you have time to spare on a Sunday afternoon please contact the climbing wall team or look at for specific volunteering opportunities.

Training will be provided and volunteers will gain valuable work experience by helping at the sessions.

Inclusive Climbing sessions

Every Sunday during Term 1, 2 & 3

  • Speciliast equipment

  • Personalised Sessions

Whether it’s just for a one off taster or if you are looking to get into a new sport, who knows you might be a world champion in waiting.

We have several qualified and experienced instructors who are able to deliver sessions for individuals.

Due to the nature of these sessions, it is strongly advised to book in advance either via  Disability Sports Officer or climbing wall team .

Our inclusive climbing sessions are supported by University of Nottingham Cascade Fund (Alumni Grants), British Mountaineering Council and Alpkit.
