Empower aims to offer a safe and inclusive environment for women, trans and non-binary identifying students to engage in sport, health and well-being and through this partnership, we hope to engage and inspire more of our community than ever before.
Through Project Period, all of our sports centres are also stocked with free Grace & Green period products ensuring our facility users are never caught off guard. A number of our sports clubs have also received Grace & Green Period Kits to provide added cover during away trips.
Louise Smith - Participation Sport Officer at UoN Sport - commented on the power of the partnership partnership by saying: "We are delighted to have Grace & Green support our Empower programme to ensure our women, trans, and non-binary students continue to feel encouraged to be physically active at the University of Nottingham. Our Empower programme offers fun, new opportunities for our students to get moving, and having access to high quality, sustainable, and free period products is hugely important in helping them keep active and comfortable throughout their cycle."
