The Support Services Team are here to help and advise international students on issues such as visas, employment, money, personal/family concerns, and academic difficulties.

Checklist - now you are here:

  • Welcome address - Attend your formal welcome from the University and Students' Union on Arrivals Day - Sunday 23 September 2012.
  • Registration - if you are a full-time student you must confirm your attendance in person. For international students this can be done during International Welcome Week - Tuesday 18 - Friday 21 September.
  • Attend Freshers' Fair (24-26 September) - this takes place next to the University Park sports centre. Here, you can find out about everything your Students' Union has to offer, including sports clubs and societies.
  • Attend your specific school/department induction session - details will be sent directly from your school/department and can also be found on the portal.
  • Attend your module enrolment - details will be sent directly from your school/department and can also be found on the portal.
  • Attend the Health Centre registration event -  you can join Cripps Health Centre by taking your completed medical registration forms to the registration event in Trent Building between 24-26 September. For students at Sutton Bonington Campus, seperate instructions will be provided on your arrival.
  • Student bank account - open a student bank account if you have not already done so.
