Functional Optical Imaging

3rd - 4th December 2011

The Institute of Biophysics, Imaging and Optical Science is pleased to announce our second conference in the Functional Optical Imaging series - FOI '11.

In the summer of 2009 we held the inaugural IBIOS conference in Nottingham. This proved very popular with participants and has led to lasting collaborations. It was felt opportune to hold the second conference at the University of Nottingham Ningbo Campus in part recognition of the international vision of our own University but more importantly to acknowledge the increasingly important role of Bioimaging research in the Far East.

Ningbo is located in Zhejiang Province on the south shore of Hangzhou Bay opposite Shanghai and is one of the busiest ports in China and among the largest ports in the world. It is two hours by train from Hangzhou and three and a half hours by train from Shanghai, with a modern airport offering direct connections to all major cities in China, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
