Students have the right to appeal against a decision of an academic body on the issues of student progression, assessment and awards.

Students should take care to use the Procedure and Appeal Form for the relevant Campus.
If the issue you wish to raise is not covered by the Academic Appeals policy you may wish to consider using the Student Compaints Policy.
Appeals will only be accepted if submitted on the Appeals Form and in line with the requirements set out in the Appeals Procedure.
The Complaints and Conduct Team can advise on the operational process of the Appeals Policy and Procedure.

The Regulations on Academic Misconduct consist of the Academic MIsconduct Policy and the Academic Misconduct Procedure. These Regulations came into force on 24 September 2018 and apply to students on all campuses.
Any Academic Misconduct investigations commenced prior to this date should be conducted in accordance with the pre September 2018 Regulations.
