The Centre for English Language Education is a busy department with well-qualified and experienced tutors engaged in a range of pedagogies, scholarship and professional development activities.
We welcome applications from visiting scholars worldwide with interests in areas such as:
- English for Academic Purposes
- English for Specific Purposes
- academic literacies
- learner autonomy
- curriculum and syllabus design
- mentoring
- learner reflection
Our capacity is limited to two visiting scholars per year. We accept applications up to March of each year for consideration for the following academic year.
