As a strategic partnership between Leicestershire County Council and the University of Nottingham, Visioning a Creative and Cultural County (VCCC) offers bespoke and distinctive placements.
The placements are contributing to deepening the research-policy engagement work undertaken by the strategic partnership and to developing a co-created Cultural Strategy for Leicestershire County Council.
The placements provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with first-hand experience of working on exciting and real-world projects at the intersection of the heritage sector, the digital media industries, the immersive technologies realm, and local government context.
Through working closely with vastly experienced and passionate industry professionals and staff on these placements, students gain valuable professional development competencies and skills highly coveted by graduate job employers.
