Connect Nottingham will incorporate a café, restauarant, shop and activity spaces.

This will offer a relaxed, non-intimidating venue for local people to interact – by simply sharing a coffee, or by embarking on a learning journey via interactive activities or contributing to our latest research.

It also offers opportunities for researchers to conduct 'research in the wild'.

We are transforming some of the space into a cutting-edge ‘Immersive Room’, where community participants of all ages and backgrounds will become active co-creators and contributors to our work.

These immersive environments are often described as being like stepping into a huge virtual reality headset, with the added benefit of offering a shared social experience.
