Academic Division of Midwifery

The Academic Division of Midwifery is one of three divisions in the School which is located in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

For more than a decade there have been significant initiatives in shared learning with midwifery and medical students at undergraduate level as well as with experienced midwives and specialist obstetric registrar trainees.

Academic midwives are based on the same sites as many of their obstetric colleagues which helps to facilitate collaboration in education, practice and research.
