The theme of the Museums + Tech 2025 Conference is Seize the Tech!
Digital creativity is flourishing — we have more powerful, accessible tools than ever to process data and produce striking content. Yet alongside this progress come pressing questions:
- How accurate and representative is the output, and whose voices and values shape it?
- What are the implications for consent, ownership, legality and sustainability?
Museums face a particular challenge — balancing innovation with responsibility in how they communicate and curate online.
Seize the Tech Conference 2025 will explore how the sector can seize technology for social good, tackle algorithmic bias and misinformation, and create fairer digital experiences.
