Event details
This Webinar will feature key findings from a timely and important report. Written by Creative Industries Policy Evidence Centre (Creative PEC) research partners at Newcastle University, the report explores UK visa data and creative occupations, aiming to fill the evidence gap on immigrants within the creative industries. It highlights trends and growth in geographical distribution of the visa holders and where they are from.
The event will be of particular interest to creative sector policymakers; local, regional, national and international Creative industries researchers; and people interested in the latest sector developments and trends.
The Webinar will feature the presentation of the findings from report co-authored by Dr Sara Maioli and Dr Daniel Simandjuntak. This will be followed by expert responses from Dr Madeleine Sumption and Marta Foresti. Attendees will have opportunity to put questions to the panel and researchers. The full names of all report co-authors are Dr Sara Maioli, Dr Daniel Simandjuntak, Dr Jonathan Jones and Professor Giorgio Fazio.
