Sustainability

The Institute for Policy and Engagement works with academics from across the university to translate their research into insights for policy makers looking to achieve a sustainable future, and to engage public audiences with key issues on the sustainability agenda.

It's never been more important that academic insights inform policy decisions and the University of Nottingham is committed to environmental sustainability through our research, teaching, campus activity, investments and our work with partners locally and globally. Our wide-ranging contributions to research in the field of climate change include: expertise on developing Net Zero Aviation; food and agriculture; green chemicals; sustainable energy; and the social impacts of climate change.
