We want to make sure we're doing everything we can to meet the needs of all of our visitors. The below outlines the services available on the day to make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.
AccessAble is a tool designed to provide practical information about facilities available and the access routes into some of our buildings. You may find this valuable when planning your visit.
Accommodation
There will be wide selection of halls available to visit. Rutland Hall has accessible rooms. Whilst we're unable to guarantee there will be an accessible room available to visit, the communal areas of this building will be open for you to explore.
The Accommodation team will be available at the Trent Building where you will register on arrival. You can learn more about our halls and ask them any questions.

Accessible toilets
Most buildings have one or more wheelchair accessible toilets. Their locations are shown on plans fixed at building entrances.
Accessible minibus
This is a service for visitors with mobility needs who would like help getting around University Park Campus and Jubilee Campus. This service can be used by those with both temporary or long-term impairments as well as pregnant visitors. Visitors are welcome to contact the minibus on the number below to be picked up.

Accessible Campus Tour
We will be running campus tours throughout the day. If you make the staff member organising the tours aware of any adjustments you need, then we will make sure the student ambassador running the tour is aware and can make appropriate alterations to the route.
Disability Support Services
Our specialist service provides student-led support to enable disabled students to flourish as independent learners. We are here to help you if you have a disability, mental health difficulty, long-term medical condition, autistic spectrum condition, or a specific learning difference such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia or ADHD. If you have any questions about how our disability support services can help you whist you are studying with us, the team will be at the information fair to chat to. They will also have a quiet room available for any confidential conversations you may want to have with them.
Parking
If you are a blue badge holder or have a temporary impairment that affects your mobility please let a staff member know when you arrive on campus, so that they can direct you to an appropriate parking space.
Prayer rooms
The University provides a range of rooms on every campus for prayer and religious observance, including a Christian chapel, Muslim prayer rooms and multi-faith prayer rooms. Please speak to a member of staff on the day who can direct you to a prayer room.
Sign language interpreter
If you have requested a sign language interpreter, we will be in touch closer to the time to confirm your requirements and make arrangements for you to meet with your interpreter, who will remain with you for all your activities. We may not be able to provide a sign language interpreter if booking within two weeks of the event.
