AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) funded studentships at Nottingham offer you:

  • Funding including tuition fees, maintenance grant and research development, training and placement funds.
  • Supervision from experienced academics
  • Training in both research skills and career skills
  • Networking and collaboration with other AHRC funded researchers at Nottingham, and across the Midlands region via the East and West Midlands AHRC Hub for PGR excellence (website under development).

Applications are welcome from both home and internationals candidates.

Open Doctoral Award (ODA)

Applicants apply with their own project idea.

Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Award (CDP)

Applicants apply to projects which are developed by supervisors and collaborative organisations. Projects will be advertised on AHRC CDP website.
