Course title: Using the Content Management System to create and publish on the web
- Duration: one full day
- Location: various
- Frequency: monthly
- Cost: free
The CMS training course is aimed at members of staff who have responsibility for creating and editing content on the University of Nottingham website. The day is split into two sections:
- good practice
- writing for the web and how it's different to print
- introduction to Contensis
- importing and creating content
- page layout and formatting
To get the best from the course, you should have some familiarity with how to search for and use web pages, and you should be able to use fairly standard computer software (like Microsoft Word) to create and edit documents on your computer.
