PCs in libraries
As well as computer rooms in libraries, individual spaces with PCs are also available in most libraries. Simply drop in to use any available non-booked space or book in advance online using Click and Study. Students can book two three-hour slots per day.
Accessing computer rooms
Open to all members of the University
Access outside core hours is by University Card only
It is important that you do not allow unauthorised people to enter computer rooms (i.e. by holding the door open for them when you have used your card to gain access)
You must be prepared to identify yourself (with your University Card) to Security staff if necessary
Virtual desktop
Alternatively, the Virtual Desktop service provides instant access 24/7 to a fully configured virtual University computer.
