Assistive technology room (ATR)

Assistive technology rooms are bookable spaces that provide access to assistive technology and hardware to support your studies.

About assistive technology rooms

We have four assistive technology rooms:

Book an assistive technology room

Hallward, George Green and Djanogly LRC

To book the assistive technology rooms at Hallward, George Green or Djanogly LRC, please email  UI-LS-bookings@nottingham.ac.uk

You will need to include the following details:

  • which library you want to use
  • requested date and time
  • how long you want to book the room for (up to three hours)
  • your Library Card number

You may hold up to four bookings of three hours at any one time.

 

Greenfield Medical Library

About the room

The Greenfield Medical Library Assistive Technology Room has three study spaces:

  • One space with PC and two screens
  • Two spaces with two screens to which you can connect your own device

All desks are height adjustable and there is a meeting space with a small low table and two armchairs.

Booking the room

To book the ATR in Greenfield Medical Library, please email ua-enquiries-gml@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk or call 0115 823 0574.

Please indicate in the form if you require sole use of the room. You can book up to four slots, for a maximum of three hours each. These can be consecutive bookings of up to six hours.

If you have not taken up your booking within the first hour, the room will be released for others to use.

 

On arrival

  • Collect the key from the lending desk (you have 30 minutes from the beginning of the booking to collect)
  • You will need to sign for it and show your University or Library Card
  • Return the key to the lending desk at the end of the session
