Library refurbishments

Our libraries are changing this summer, we've got a number of projects to improve our spaces and improve your experience.

  • Business library - the lift at Business School South is closed from 20 June to 19 September for replacement. The library will remain open throughout summer and is accessible via the stairs on A Floor. An on-demand service is available.
  • Djanogly Learning Resource Centre - Group study rooms will be refurbished with freshly painted walls, new carpets, improved access to power and new furniture. This is planned to start the week beginning Monday 20 June.
  • Hallward library - Starting from Monday 27 June and running for 3 weeks, there will be a project to create a new Assistive Technology Room at Hallward Library (LG123).
  • James Cameron-Gifford library - From 18 June, work will also be underway to replace the roof coverings at James Cameron-Gifford Library. It is estimated that this work will take six weeks. We expect this work to provide minimal disruption and the library will remain open throughout this time.
